Perennial wild herb with thousand connotations. It is a compound Greek term consisting of oros and ganos, meaning “brightness of the mountain”, symbol of peace and serenity. Once used to weave ceremonial crowns for brides and grooms. This precious herb is picked at sunset in the Hyblean mountains, scozzolata – defoliated – by hand and left to dry in the shade. With its scented character, it’s the signature on every gourmet dish.
