The Giarratana Onion, cultivated through “organic farming”, remains the flagship product of this small town in the Ragusa area, located in the heart of the Iblei Mountains. Onions are selected and sorted directly in the field, enabling us to offer custom production with a made-to-measure approach. After being cooked and smoked, the onions are quickly frozen to -18°C. Thanks to their sweetness, they are highly appreciated for culinary use.
